Reviews
We have eaten here twice, once pre-pandemic and once last week, during the pandemic. We ate in the first time and take out the second (no in-person dining yet). COME EAT HERE PEOPLE!! I think this place may be a little overlooked because its not right downtown but the food, price and service are well worth less than five minutes in the car. (additionally the sushi house downtown is TERRIBLE, see my review) Okasen has a friendly and warm staff, delicious rolls and generous portions on the veggie/prawn tempura. The prices are very reasonable and the Mr. Kim recommended a roll to us that was scrumptious! Overall, we had five rolls, gyoza, edamame and a veggie/prawn tempura plate. There was not a crumb left! We will be back and you should go too!
Amazing food, fast service for takeout. We'll def be regulars here. Everything was perfectly cooked and looked as good as it tasted.
I am never let down with any dish I have tried so far. Amazing flavor, texture and presentation. My favorite in Port Angeles Washington and on this side of the canal by far. Thank you
Nice place, traditional Japanese decorations and food taste. Staff are very nice! Pice is reasonable.
My wife and I have been here at least 30 times, maybe more. The service has always been good, the people always friendly and the sushi the best on the peninsula. I have been here so many times I don't know how they could have got the negative reviews I see - I mean if it were so bad, by now I would have experienced it and have not. We are saddened it had to close. I hope they re-open somewhere because it was our treat-ourselves place to go.
